Tinted mobile car window tinting in Bradeley provides an all in one car tinting service. Tinting your car windows on your own, is often a disaster waiting to happen, choosing the best brand, shade, and also just lining it up on the glass and applying it, can be very difficult! Taking your vehicle to be tinted locally can often be a real burden too, having to take some time off work, or be without your vehicle for several hours while you wait for it to be completed, is often not possible.
At Tinted we’re 100% mobile, and we can cover the whole of Warwickshire & the West Midlands including Bradeley and surrounding areas. So we can visit your workplace or home, saving you time or valuable holiday days. We guarantee our work for a lifetime for your peace of mind, and we are fully insured for all the tinting work we do.
We can also offer both tinted & sun strips, headlight tints, roof and bonnet wraps, and interior wraps.
Our process
- You book an appropriate appointment time and a location convenient to you.
- Our uniformed staff will arrive, only requiring access to a power point.
- We then wash the vehicle windows with 100% pure water to remove any dirt or invisible debris previous to tinting them.
- We could need to detach the door cards to access the complete window. This is done to the highest possible professional standard.
- When the windows are tinted, we request you don’t use the windows for around 7 days so that they can completely dry, this preserves the edge of the tint.
- We’re then able to recieve payment by, cash, card, or bank transfer.
What window tint shade is right for your vehicle?
Selecting the correct tint shade can be tricky. Here are some things to ask yourself:
- Would this tint be for style and looks?
- Is it to look after children or animals from things like heat & UV rays?
- Is it to conceal valuables from sight?
Using your answers to these questions our qualified professionals can help you to pick the right shade. Here are the three main shades available:
Light tint – This is a subtle tint providing protection from UV rays but giving full visibility even in darkness.
Medium tint – This is how many cars come out of the factory, it offers shelter from UV rays, heat & does add some privacy.
Blackout tint – This tint is the most popular, it protects from heat, UV rays and offers absolute privacy.
Which car windows are we able to tint?
We are asked this question many times. To start with, let us describe the way tint is measured.
The percentage produced for a tint defines how much of the light is allowed through. So, a 20% tint permits 20% of light through.
The allowed legal limit on each of the driver’s & the front passengers window is 70%. The windscreen is 75%. Which means the glass at the front must let 70-75% of the light through. Most of cars produced today come with tinted glass at almost (or close to) a 70% tint. Even though to some people this glass doesn’t look tinted, it actually is.
If you choose to have your front window glass tinted your penalties range from (click here for more details):
- A ‘prohibition notice’ banning your vehicle being used on the UK road network until you have the extra tint removed.
- A penalty notice and a court summons.
Also, a factor to consider is the insurance on your car. By tinting the front windows of your car, it’s possible to invalidate your insurance.
It’s also illegal to install tint to a vehicle’s front windows, with hefty penalties & fines. Tinted is a reliable, trustworthy & respected company that all clients rely on and as such we do not want to break the law. So we choose not to tint any front windows.
We will happily tint any rear windows as dark as you wish, as there is no legal limit on rear window tints.
What type of tint do you use?
Not every window tint meets our standards! The types of window tint available are:
Dyed/Dipped Window
This tends to be the least expensive tint available to the market, it fades, bubbles, and normally goes a blue or purple colour in the end. It is quite poor, and we do not recommend it.
Metalized
This tint is also often very cheap. It is affected by the rear window heater lines, which cause it to bubble. It can also interrupt radio signals. This is not a premium tint, and, will not last.
Carbon or Charcoal
Top industry-standard tint. It is what we usually use at Tinted, as it provides great colour, its long lasting, is not affected by heater lines & doesn’t affect the radio signals.
Ceramic
The most superior tint money can buy, offered as our premium service. It has great colour/longevity, isn’t affected by heater lines, does not affect radio signals and gives the most UV/temperature protection.
Having said that, not all window tint manufacturers are the same, after many years in the industry, we have selected what we believe is the best brand available, and even better, it is all manufactured in Great Britain, meaning when you choose our services you’re supporting two UK businesses.
