100% Mobile Window Tinting Service

Tinted mobile car window tinting in Whitnash provides an all in one car window tinting service. Tinting your car windows by yourself, is often a disaster waiting to happen, selecting the best shade, brand, and also just lining it up on the glass and applying it, can be a real pain! Taking your vehicle to have the tint applied at a local garage can often be a real burden too, needing to take some time off work, or be without your vehicle for several hours while you wait for it to be finished, is often not possible.

At Tinted we are 100% mobile, and we cover the whole of Warwickshire & the West Midlands including Whitnash and surrounding areas. So we can visit your home or place of work, saving you time or valuable holiday days. We offer a lifetime guarantee for your peace of mind, and we are completely insured for every tinting job we do.

We also provide both tinted & sun strips, headlight tints, bonnet & roof vinyl wraps, and interior wraps.

How it works

  • You make a booking for a time slot and place convenient to you.
  • Our uniformed staff will arrive, only needing access to a powered plug socket.
  • We then clean the vehicle windows with 100% pure water to remove any dirt or invisible debris before we tint them.
  • We may need to remove door cards to gain access to the workings of the window. This is done to the best professional standard.
  • When the windows have been tinted, we ask that you do not use the windows for at least 7 days to allow them to completely dry, this safeguards all the edges of the tint.
  • We are then able to take payment by, bank transfer, cash, or card.

Which window tint shade is right for your vehicle?

Choosing the right tint shade can be difficult. Here are some questions to ask yourself:

  1. Is the tint for style and looks?
  2. Is it to shield children or animals from heat or UV rays?
  3. Is it to conceal valuables from view?

Based on your responses to these questions our fully trained specialists are able to help you to pick the right shade. Here are the 3 main shades to choose from:

Light tintThis is a subtle tint providing protection from UV rays but giving complete visibility even in darkness.

Medium tintThis is the same as the factory provides for many cars, it offers a safeguard from UV rays, heat and does add a little privacy.

Blackout tint – This tint is our most widely selected, it can safeguard from UV rays, heat and provides total privacy.

Which car windows are we able to tint?

We’re often asked about this. Firstly, let’s explain the way tint is measured.

The percentage produced for a tint defines how much of the light is allowed through. So, a 20% tint permits 20% of light to pass through.

The legal limit on both the driver’s and the front passengers window is 70%. The windscreen is 75%. Which means the front windows have to let 70-75% of the light through. The vast majority of cars the come from the factory today have tinted windows at almost (or close to) a 70% tint. Even though to some it doesn’t look tinted, it actually is.

If you choose to get your front windows tinted the potential penalty will be (click here for more details):

  • A ‘prohibition notice’ stopping you using your vehicle on the UK road network unless you strip the tint from your vehicle.
  • A penalty notice and a summons by the court system.

Also, a factor to consider is the insurance on your car. By tinting the front windows of your car, you can nullify your insurance.

It is also illegal to install tint to a vehicle’s front windows, with heavy penalties & fines. Tinted is a trustworthy, respectable and reliable company that all clients rely on and as such we choose not to disobey the law. So we will not tint front windows.

We will happily tint any rear windows as dark as you wish, as there is no legal limit on rear window tints.

What type of tint do you use?

Not all window tint meets our standards! The types of window tint available are:

Dyed/Dipped Window

This tends to be the least expensive product on the market, it fades, bubbles, and often goes a blue or purple colour in the end. It is quite poor, and we don’t recommend it.

Metalized

This tint is also often very cheap. It is damaged by the rear window heater lines, making it bubble. It can also interrupt radio signals. This isn’t a good option, and, will not last.

Carbon or Charcoal

Top industry-standard window tint. We choose to use this at Tinted, as it provides great colour, longevity, is not affected by heater lines & does not affect the radio reception.

Ceramic

The most superior tint on the market, offered as our premium service. It has great colour/longevity, the heater lines do not affect it, does not affect radio signal and provides the most temperature/UV protection.

Having said that, not all manufacturers of tint are the same, after many years in the industry, we have chosen what we have found to be the best brand available, and what is more, it is manufactured in Great Britain, which means that when you choose our services you are actually supporting two UK businesses.
