100% Mobile Window Tinting Service

Tinted mobile car window tinting in Kenilworth provides an all in one car tinting solution. Tinting your car windows on your own, is often a real hassle, selecting the best shade, brand, and even just lining it up on the glass and applying it, can be problematic! Taking your vehicle to have the tint applied at a local garage can often be a real burden as well, having to take some time off work, or be without your vehicle for several hours while you wait for it to be finished, is often not possible.

At Tinted we are completely mobile, and we can cover all of the West Midlands & Warwickshire including Kenilworth and surrounding areas. So we will come to your workplace or home, saving you time or valuable holiday days. We guarantee our work for a lifetime for your peace of mind, and we are fully insured for all the tinting work we do.

We also offer both tinted & sun strips, headlight tints, roof and bonnet wraps, and interior vinyl wraps.

Our process

  • You make a booking for a time slot and a location that suits you.
  • Our uniformed personnel will arrive, only needing access to a powered plug socket.
  • We then wash the car windows with 100% pure water to remove any dirt or microscopic debris previous to tinting them.
  • We might need to remove door cards to access the complete window. This is done to the highest possible professional standard.
  • Once the windows have been tinted, we believe its best that you do not use the windows for at least 7 days to allow them to dry fully, this protects the edge of the tint.
  • We can then recieve payment by, card, bank transfer, or cash.

Which window tint shade is right for you?

Selecting the best tint shade can be tricky. Here are some things to ask yourself:

  1. Is the tint to make you car look great?
  2. Is it to look after children or animals from things like heat & UV rays?
  3. Do you want keep valuables out of view?

From your answers to these questions our fully trained professionals can help you to select the correct shade. Below are the 3 main shades available:

Light tintThis is a subtle tint providing protection from UV rays but giving full visibility even in darkness.

Medium tintThis is how many cars come out of the factory, it offers shelter from heat, UV rays and does add some privacy.

Blackout tint – This tint is the most popular, it provides a guard from heat, UV rays and provides total privacy.

Which car windows are we able to tint?

We’re asked this question many times. Firstly, let’s explain how tint is measured.

The percentage given for a tint defines the amount of light that is let through. Therefore a 20% tint allows 20% of light to pass through.

The legal limit on both the driver’s and the front passengers window is 70%. The windscreen is 75%. Which means the front windows must let 70-75% of the light through any installed tint. Most of vehicles produced today have tinted glass at almost (or nearly) a 70% tint. Even though to some people it doesn’t seem to be tinted, it actually is.

If you choose to get your front window glass tinted the potential penalty will be (click here for more details):

  • A ‘prohibition notice’ banning your vehicle being used on the road until you remove the extra tint.
  • A penalty notice and a court summons.

Also, something to consider is the insurance on your car. By tinting the front windows of your car, you may nullify your insurance.

It’s also illegal to install tint to a vehicle’s front windows, with large fines and penalties. Tinted is a respectable, reliable and trustworthy business that all customers rely on and as such we choose not to disobey the law. So we choose not to tint front windows.

We will happily tint any rear windows as dark as you wish, as there is no legal limit on rear window tints.

Which of the available tint do you install?

Not every window tint was created equal! The window tints available are:

Dyed/Dipped Window

This is often found be the cheapest product available to the market, it bubbles, fades, and will likely go a blue or purple colour in the end. It is quite poor, and we don’t recommend it.

Metalized

This tint is also cheap. It is regularly affected by the rear window heater lines, which cause it to bubble. It can also disturb radio signals. This isn’t a good option, and, will not last.

Carbon or Charcoal

Premium industry-standard tint. It is what we usually use at Tinted, as it provides great colour, longevity, does not get affected by heater lines and doesn’t affect the radio reception.

Ceramic

The greatest tint on the market, offered as our premium service. It has the best longevity/colour, isn’t affected by heater lines, will not affect radio signal and gives the most UV/temperature protection.

All that being said, not all tint manufacturers are the same, after many years of experience, we have chosen what we think is best brand available, and what is more, it is all manufactured in the UK, which means that when you choose our services you’re supporting two UK companies.
