Tinted mobile car window tinting in Bubbenhall offers a complete car tinting service. Tinting your car windows by yourself, can be a disaster waiting to happen, selecting the best brand, shade, and also just lining it up on the glass and applying it, can be a real pain! Taking your vehicle to have the tint applied locally can be a real burden too, needing to take some time off work, or having no car for many hours while you wait for it to be completed, is often not possible.

At Tinted we are completely mobile, and we cover all of the West Midlands & Warwickshire including Bubbenhall and local areas. So we will come to your workplace or home, saving you time or precious holiday days. We guarantee our work for a lifetime for your peace of mind, and we are completely insured for all the tinting work we do.

We are able to offer both tinted & sun strips, car light tints, roof and bonnet vinyl wraps, and interior wraps.

How it works

  • You book a time slot and a location that suits you.
  • Our uniformed team will arrive, only requiring access to a powered plug socket.
  • We then clean the car windows with 100% pure water to eliminate any dirt or microscopic debris before we tint them.
  • We may need to remove door cards to access the entirety of the window. This is done to the best professional standard.
  • Once the windows are tinted, we request you do not use the windows for at least 7 days so that they can dry fully, this safeguards all the edges of the tint.
  • We can then recieve payment by, bank transfer, cash, or card.

Which window tint shade is the right choice for you?

Selecting the correct tint shade can be hard. Here are some questions to ask yourself:

  1. Would this tint be for style and looks?
  2. Is it to protect children or animals from heat or UV rays?
  3. Is it cover up valuables from view?

From your answers to those questions our trained professionals can help you to pick the correct shade. Here are the 3 main shades to choose from:

Light tintThis is a subtle tint providing protection from UV rays but giving total visibility even at night.

Medium tintThis is a factory tinted look, it offers shelter from heat, UV rays & does add some privacy.

Blackout tint – This tint is the most popular, it provides a guard from heat, UV rays and provides total privacy.

Which car windows can we tint?

We are regularly asked this question. Firstly, let us explain how tint is measured.

The percentage given for a tint defines how much of the light is let through. Therefore a 20% tint permits 20% of light through.

The legal limit on both the driver’s and the front passengers window is 70%. The windscreen is 75%. Meaning the front windows must let 70-75% of the light through. Nearly all of cars produced today come with tinted glass at already (or close to) a 70% tint. Although to some this glass doesn’t look tinted, it actually is.

If you choose to have your front windows tinted this is the potential penalty (click this link for details):

  • A ‘prohibition notice’ stopping your vehicle being used on the UK road network until you have the extra tint removed.
  • A penalty notice and a summons by the court system.

Also, something to consider is your car insurance. By tinting your front windows, you may nullify your insurance.

It’s also illegal to install tint to a vehicle’s front windows, with heavy fines and penalties. Tinted is a respectable, reliable and trustworthy company that all clients rely on and as such we choose not to disobey the law. So we decided to not tint front windows.

We will happily tint any rear windows as dark as you wish, as there is no legal limit on rear window tints.

Which of the available tint do you install?

Not all window tint was created equal! The window tints available are:

Dipped/Dyed Window

This tends to be the least expensive tint on the market, it fades, bubbles, and often goes a blue or purple colour in the end. It isn’t good quality, and we don’t recommend it.

Metalized

This tint is also often very cheap. It is damaged by the rear window heater lines, which cause it to bubble. It can also disturb radio reception. This is not a premium tint, and, will not last.

Carbon or Charcoal

Premium industry-standard window tint. It is what we usually use at Tinted, as it gives a great colour, longevity, does not get affected by heater lines and does not affect the radio reception.

Ceramic

The best tint money can buy, provided as our premium service. It has the best longevity/colour, is not affected by heater lines, will not affect radio reception and gives the best UV/temperature protection.

All that being said, not all manufacturers of tint offer the same, after many years of experience, we have chosen what we have found to be the best brand available, and even better, it is all manufactured in Great Britain, meaning when you hire our services you’re supporting two UK businesses.
