Tinted mobile car window tinting in Bromley offers a complete car window tinting service. Tinting your car windows on your own, can often be a real pain, choosing the right shade, brand, and also just aligning it with the window and applying it, can be very difficult! Driving your vehicle to be tinted at a local garage can often be a real burden too, needing to take some time off work, or be without your car for several hours waiting for it to be completed, is often not possible.

At Tinted we are 100% mobile, and we cover the whole of the West Midlands & Warwickshire including Bromley and nearby towns. So we can visit your workplace or home, saving you time or valuable holiday days. We offer a lifetime guarantee for your peace of mind, and we are completely insured for all the tinting work we do.

We can also offer both tinted and sun strips, car light tints, bonnet & roof wraps, and interior wraps.

How it works

  • You make a booking for a time slot and a location convenient to you.
  • Our uniformed staff will arrive, only requiring access to a powered plug socket.
  • We then wash the car windows with 100% pure water to eliminate any dirt or invisible debris before we tint them.
  • We might need to remove door cards to access the entirety of the window. This is done to the highest possible professional standard.
  • When the windows are tinted, we ask that you don’t use the windows for at least 7 days to allow them to completely dry, this safeguards the edge of the tint.
  • We are then able to take payment by, card, bank transfer, or cash.

Which window tint shade is right for your vehicle?

Choosing the correct tint shade can be difficult. Here are some things to ask yourself:

  1. Is the tint for style and looks?
  2. Is it to shield children or animals from things like heat & UV rays?
  3. Do you want to conceal valuables out of sight?

Using your responses to these questions our trained specialists are able to help you to choose the correct shade. Below are the 3 main shades to choose from:

Light tintThis is a subtle tint providing protection from UV rays but giving total visibility even in darkness.

Medium tintThis is the same as the factory provides for many cars, it offers a safeguard from UV rays, heat & also adds a little privacy.

Blackout tint – This tint is the most widely selected, it provides a guard from UV rays, heat and gives complete privacy.

Which car windows are we able to tint?

We’re regularly asked this question. Firstly, let’s describe how tint is measured.

The percentage produced for a tint defines the amount of light that is allowed through. So, a 20% tint makes possible for 20% of light to pass through.

The legal limit on both the driver’s & the front passengers window is 70%. The windscreen is 75%. Meaning the glass at the front have to let 70-75% of the light through any installed tint. The vast majority of vehicles produced today come with tinted windows at already (or close to) a 70% tint. Even though to some it doesn’t look tinted, it actually is.

If you choose to get your front window glass tinted this is the potential penalty (click this link for details):

  • A ‘prohibition notice’ banning you using your vehicle on the UK road network until you have the extra tint removed.
  • A penalty notice and a summons by the court system.

Also, something to think about is your car insurance. By tinting your front windows, you can invalidate your insurance.

It is also against the law to install tint to the front windows, with large fines and penalties. Tinted is a reliable, trustworthy & respected business that all clients rely on and as such we do not want to break the law. So we decided to not tint any front windows.

We will happily tint any rear windows as dark as you wish, as there is no legal limit on rear window tints.

What type of tint do you use?

Not every window tint meets our standards! The window tints available are:

Dipped/Dyed Window

This tends to be the least expensive tint on the market, it bubbles, fades, and normally goes a blue or purple colour after a while. Its really not great, and we do not recommend it.

Metalized

This tint is also often very cheap. It is regularly damaged by the rear window heater lines, making it bubble. It can also interrupt radio reception. This isn’t a good option, and, will not last.

Carbon or Charcoal

Premium industry-standard tint. We choose to use this at Tinted, as it provides great colour, its long lasting, does not get affected by heater lines & does not affect the radio signals.

Ceramic

The finest tint available, provided as our premium service. It provides great longevity/colour, is not affected by heater lines, will not affect radio reception and gives the most UV/temperature protection.

All that being said, not all tint manufacturers offer the same, after many years in the industry, we have selected what we have found to be the best brand available, and even better, it is all manufactured in Great Britain, which means that when you hire our services you are actually supporting two UK companies.
