Tinted mobile car window tinting in Burghill offers an all in one car window tinting service. Tinting your car windows yourself, can often be a real pain, selecting the best shade, brand, and even just aligning it with the window and applying it, can be a real pain! Taking your car to have the tint applied locally can often be a hassle as well, needing to take the time off work, or be without your car for several hours waiting for it to be finished, is often not possible.

At Tinted we are completely mobile, and we cover the whole of the West Midlands & Warwickshire including Burghill and nearby towns. So we can visit your workplace or home, saving you a lot of time or valuable holiday days. We guarantee our work for a lifetime for your peace of mind, and we are completely insured for every tinting job we do.

We also offer both tinted & vinyl sun strips, car light tints, roof and bonnet wraps, and interior wraps.

How it works

  • You book an appropriate appointment time and a location that suits you.
  • Our uniformed crew will arrive, only requiring access to power.
  • We then clean the car windows with 100% pure water to clear away any dirt or unseen debris previous to tinting them.
  • We may need to detach the door cards to gain access to the entirety of the window. This is done to the highest possible professional standard.
  • When the windows are tinted, we request you don’t use the windows for at least a week to allow them to completely dry, this safeguards all the edges of the tint.
  • We are then able to take payment by, card, bank transfer, or cash.

What window tint shade is the right choice for you?

Selecting the best tint shade can be hard. Here are some questions to ask yourself:

  1. Would this tint be to make you car look great?
  2. Is it to protect children or animals from UV rays or heat?
  3. Do you want cover up valuables from sight?

Based on your answers to those questions our qualified professionals are able to help you to choose the correct shade. Here are the three main shades to choose from:

Light tintThis is a subtle tint offering protection from UV rays but giving full visibility even in darkness.

Medium tintThis is how many cars come out of the factory, it offers a safeguard from heat, UV rays & also adds a little privacy.

Blackout tint – This tint is the most popular, it protects from UV rays, heat and provides total privacy.

Which car windows are we able to tint?

We are regularly asked this question. Firstly, let’s explain the way tint is measured.

The percentage given for a tint defines the amount of light that is allowed through. So, a 20% tint permits 20% of light through.

The legal limit on both the driver’s and the front passengers window is 70%. The windscreen is 75%. Meaning the glass at the front have to let 70-75% of the light through any installed tint. Most of vehicles produced today come with tinted windows at already (or close to) a 70% tint. Although to some it doesn’t look tinted, it really is.

If you choose to get your front window glass tinted this is the potential penalty (click here for more details):

  • A ‘prohibition notice’ stopping your vehicle being used on the UK road network unless you have the extra tint removed.
  • A penalty notice and a summons by the court system.

Also, something to consider is your car insurance. By tinting the front windows of your car, it’s possible to nullify your insurance.

It is also illegal to install tint to a vehicle’s front windows, with heavy penalties & fines. Tinted is a trustworthy, respectable and reliable company that all customers rely on and as such we choose not to disobey the law. So we decided to not tint front windows.

We will happily tint any rear windows as dark as you wish, as there is no legal limit on rear window tints.

What type of tint do you install?

Not all window tint meets our standards! The types of window tint available are:

Dyed/Dipped Window

This tends to be the cheapest product on the market, it bubbles, fades, and normally goes a blue or purple colour eventually. Its really not great, and we don’t recommend it.

Metalized

This tint is also cheap. It is regularly affected by the rear window heater lines, which cause it to bubble. It can also disturb radio reception. This is not a good option, and, won’t last.

Carbon or Charcoal

Premium industry-standard tint. It is what we usually use at Tinted, as it provides great colour, longevity, does not get affected by heater lines & does not affect the radio reception.

Ceramic

The finest tint money can buy, offered as our premium service. It provides great longevity/colour, the heater lines do not affect it, won’t affect radio signals and provides the most UV/temperature protection.

Having said that, not all window tint manufacturers are the same, after many years of experience, we have chosen what we have found to be the best brand available, and what is more, it’s manufactured in the UK, which means that when you choose our services you are actually supporting two UK companies.
