Tinted mobile car window tinting in Earlsdon provides a complete car window tinting service. Tinting car windows by yourself, is often a real hassle, choosing the right brand, shade, and even just aligning it with the window and applying it, can be very difficult! Driving your car to have the tint applied locally can be a real burden too, having to take some time off work, or losing your car for many hours while you wait for it to be finished, is often not possible.

At Tinted we are 100% mobile, and we can cover all of Warwickshire & the West Midlands including Earlsdon and nearby towns. So we will come to your workplace or home, saving you a lot of time or valuable holiday days. We offer a lifetime guarantee for your peace of mind, and we are fully insured for all the tinting work we do.

We also provide both tinted & sun strips, light tints, bonnet & roof vinyl wraps, and interior wraps.

How it works

  • You make a booking for an appropriate appointment time and a location that suits you.
  • Our uniformed personnel will arrive, only needing access to power.
  • We then wash the car windows with 100% pure water to remove any dirt or unseen debris before we tint them.
  • We could need to remove door cards to access the complete window. This is done to the best professional standard.
  • After the windows have been tinted, we believe its best that you don’t use the windows for around 7 days so that they can dry fully, this protects the edge of the tint.
  • We’re then able to recieve payment by, card, bank transfer, or cash.

Which window tint shade is right for your vehicle?

Selecting the right tint shade can be hard. Here are some things to ask yourself:

  1. Is the tint for the look & style of your car?
  2. Is it to protect children or animals from things like heat & UV rays?
  3. Do you want cover up valuables out of view?

From your responses to the questions our fully trained professionals can help you to select the correct shade. Below are the three main shades available:

Light tintThis is a subtle tint giving protection from UV rays but allowing for full visibility even in darkness.

Medium tintThis is how many cars come out of the factory, it offers shelter from UV rays, heat and also adds some privacy.

Blackout tint – This tint is our most popular, it protects from heat, UV rays and offers total privacy.

Which car windows are we able to tint?

We are often asked about this. Firstly, let us explain the way tint is measured.

The percentage given for a tint defines the amount of light that is allowed through. So, a 20% tint allows 20% of light through.

The legal limit on both the driver’s and the front passengers window is 70%. The windscreen is 75%. Which means the glass at the front have to let 70-75% of the light through any installed tint. Most of cars made today come with tinted windows at almost (or close to) a 70% tint. Although to some people it doesn’t seem to be tinted, in actual fact it is.

If you go ahead and get your front window glass tinted your penalties range from (click here for more details):

  • A ‘prohibition notice’ stopping your vehicle being used on the UK road network until you have the extra tint removed.
  • A penalty notice and a summons by the court system.

Also, a factor to think about is the insurance on your car. By tinting your front windows, you can nullify your insurance.

It’s also illegal to install tint to the front windows, with hefty fines and penalties. Tinted is a trustworthy, respectable and reliable business that all customers rely on and as such we do not want to disobey the law. So we choose not to tint any front windows.

We will happily tint any rear windows as dark as you wish, as there is no legal limit on rear window tints.

What type of tint do you install?

Not every window tint was created equal! The window tints available are:

Dipped/Dyed Window

This tends to be the cheapest tint available to the market, it bubbles, fades, and will likely go a blue or purple colour eventually. Its really not great, and we do not recommend it.

Metalized

This tint is also often very cheap. It is regularly damaged by the rear window heater lines, making it bubble. It can also interrupt radio reception. This isn’t a premium tint, and, won’t last.

Carbon or Charcoal

Premium industry-standard window tint. It is what we usually use at Tinted, as it gives a great colour, longevity, is not affected by heater lines & doesn’t affect the radio reception.

Ceramic

The most superior tint on the market, offered as our premium service. It provides the best longevity/colour, isn’t affected by heater lines, won’t affect radio reception and gives the best UV/temperature protection.

Having said that, not all window tint manufacturers are the same, after many years of experience, we have selected what we believe is the best brand available, and what is more, it is all manufactured in Great Britain, which means that when you choose our services you are actually supporting two UK companies.
