Tinted mobile car window tinting in Norton provides a complete car tinting service. Tinting car windows by yourself, is often a real hassle, choosing the best brand, shade, and also just aligning it with the window and applying it, can be very difficult! Taking your vehicle to be tinted at a local garage can often be a real burden as well, having to take some time off work, or be without your vehicle for several hours while you wait for it to be completed, is often a big inconvenience.

At Tinted we’re 100% mobile, and we cover all of Warwickshire & the West Midlands including Norton and local areas. So we will come to your workplace or home, saving you a lot of time or valuable holiday days. We offer a lifetime guarantee for your peace of mind, and we are completely insured for all the tinting work we do.

We also provide both tinted & sun strips, headlight tints, roof and bonnet vinyl wraps, and interior wraps.

How it works

  • You make a booking for a time slot and place that suits you.
  • Our uniformed crew will arrive, only needing access to a power point.
  • We then wash the vehicle windows with 100% filtered water to eliminate any dirt or microscopic debris previous to tinting them.
  • We might need to remove door cards to gain access to the complete window. This is done to the highest possible professional standard.
  • Once the windows have been tinted, we ask that you do not use the windows for at least a week to allow them to dry fully, this preserves the edge of the tint.
  • We’re then able to take payment by, card, bank transfer, or cash.

Which window tint shade is the right choice for you?

Choosing the right tint shade can be hard. Here are some things to ask yourself:

  1. Is the tint to make you car look great?
  2. Is it to look after children or animals from things like heat & UV rays?
  3. Do you want to conceal valuables out of sight?

From your responses to the questions our fully trained professionals can help you to choose the correct shade. These are the three main shades to choose from:

Light tintThis is a subtle tint offering protection from UV rays but giving complete visibility even at night.

Medium tintThis is how many cars come out of the factory, it offers a safeguard from UV rays, heat & also adds a little privacy.

Blackout tint – This tint is the most commonly selected, it can safeguard from heat, UV rays and offers complete privacy.

Which car windows can we tint?

We are asked this question many times. Firstly, let us explain how tint is measured.

The percentage given for a tint defines how much of the light is allowed through. So, a 20% tint allows 20% of light to pass through.

The legal limit on both the driver’s & the front passengers window is 70%. The windscreen is 75%. Which means the front windows have to let 70-75% of the light through any installed tint. Most of vehicles the come from the factory today come with tinted windows at almost (or close to) a 70% tint. Even though to some it doesn’t seem to be tinted, in actual fact it is.

If you go ahead and have your front window glass tinted your penalties range from (click here for more details):

  • A ‘prohibition notice’ stopping you using your vehicle on the road until you strip the tint from your vehicle.
  • A penalty notice and a summons by the court system.

Also, something to think about is the insurance on your car. By tinting your front windows, you may invalidate your insurance.

It is also illegal to install tint to a vehicle’s front windows, with large penalties & fines. Tinted is a respectable, reliable and trustworthy business that all clients rely on and because of this we do not want to disobey the law. So we choose not to tint your front windows.

We will happily tint any rear windows as dark as you wish, as there is no legal limit on rear window tints.

Which of the available tint do you install?

Not every window tint was created equal! The window tints available are:

Dyed/Dipped Window

This is often found be the cheapest product on the market, it fades, bubbles, and will likely go a blue or purple colour eventually. Its really not great, and we don’t recommend it.

Metalized

This tint is also often very cheap. It is regularly affected by the rear window heater lines, which cause it to bubble. It can also interrupt radio reception. This is not a good option, and, won’t last.

Carbon or Charcoal

Top industry-standard tint. We choose to use this at Tinted, as it gives a great colour, its long lasting, is not affected by heater lines & does not affect the radio signals.

Ceramic

The best tint on the market, offered as our premium service. It provides great colour/longevity, the heater lines do not affect it, doesn’t affect radio and provides the most UV/temperature protection.

All that being said, not all window tint manufacturers offer the same, after many years in the industry, we have chosen what we think is best brand available, and what is more, it is manufactured in the UK, meaning when you choose our services you’re supporting two UK companies.
