Tinted mobile car window tinting in Pailton offers an all in one car window tinting service. Tinting your car windows by yourself, can be a real pain, selecting the best shade, brand, and even just lining it up on the glass and applying it, can be very difficult! Taking your vehicle to be tinted at a local garage can often be a real burden too, needing to take time off work, or having no vehicle for many hours while you wait for it to be completed, is often very inconvenient.

At Tinted we’re 100% mobile, and we cover all of Warwickshire & the West Midlands including Pailton and nearby towns. So we can visit your home or place of work, saving you time or precious holiday days. We offer a lifetime guarantee for your peace of mind, and we are fully insured for every tinting job we do.

We are able to provide both tinted & vinyl sun strips, headlight tints, bonnet & roof wraps, and interior wraps.

How it works

  • You book an appropriate appointment time and a location that suits you.
  • Our uniformed team will arrive, only requiring access to power.
  • We then clean the car windows with 100% pure water to clear away any dirt or microscopic debris before we tint them.
  • We might need to detach the door cards to access the entirety of the window. This is done to the highest possible professional standard.
  • When the windows have been tinted, we believe its best that you do not use the windows for at least a week so that they can completely dry, this preserves the edge of the tint.
  • We are then able to accept payment by, card, bank transfer, or cash.

Which window tint shade is the right choice for you?

Selecting the right tint shade can be hard. Here are some questions to ask yourself:

  1. Is the tint for style and looks?
  2. Is it to look after children or animals from UV rays or heat?
  3. Is it keep valuables from view?

Based on your responses to these questions our trained professionals are able to help you to choose the right shade. Here are the three main shades available:

Light tintThis is a subtle tint offering protection from UV rays but giving total visibility even at night.

Medium tintThis is how many cars come out of the factory, it offers shelter from UV rays, heat and does add a little privacy.

Blackout tint – This tint is the most commonly selected, it can safeguard from UV rays, heat and gives complete privacy.

Which car windows can we tint?

We are often asked about this. To start with, let’s explain the way tint is measured.

The percentage produced for a tint defines the amount of light that is allowed through. Therefore a 20% tint allows 20% of light through.

The allowed legal limit on both the driver’s & the front passengers window is 70%. The windscreen is 75%. Meaning the front windows must let 70-75% of the light through. The vast majority of cars made today come with tinted glass at almost (or nearly) a 70% tint. Although to some people it doesn’t seem to be tinted, it really is.

If you choose to have your front window glass tinted this is the potential penalty (click this link for details):

  • A ‘prohibition notice’ banning you using your vehicle on the road unless you have the extra tint removed.
  • A penalty notice and a summons by the court system.

Also, something to think about is the insurance on your car. By tinting the front windows of your car, you can invalidate your insurance.

It’s also illegal to install tint to a vehicle’s front windows, with hefty fines and penalties. Tinted is a trustworthy, respectable and reliable business that all customers rely on and because of this we choose not to disobey the law. So we decided to not tint any front windows.

We will happily tint any rear windows as dark as you wish, as there is no legal limit on rear window tints.

What type of tint do you install?

Not every window tint was created equal! The types of window tint available are:

Dyed/Dipped Window

This is often found be the least expensive product on the market, it fades, bubbles, and will likely go a blue or purple colour after a while. It isn’t good quality, and we don’t recommend it.

Metalized

This tint is also cheap. It is affected by the rear window heater lines, making it bubble. It can also interrupt radio signals. This isn’t first class, and, won’t last.

Carbon or Charcoal

Top industry-standard tint. It is what we usually use at Tinted, as it provides great colour, its long lasting, is not affected by heater lines and does not affect the radio reception.

Ceramic

The best tint on the market, offered as our premium service. It has great longevity/colour, isn’t affected by heater lines, will not affect radio and gives the best UV/temperature protection.

Having said that, not all window tint manufacturers offer the same, after many years of experience, we have selected what we think is best brand available, and what is more, it is all manufactured in Great Britain, which means that when you hire our services you’re supporting two UK companies.
