Tinted mobile car window tinting in Clifford offers an all in one car tinting solution. Tinting car windows yourself, is often a real pain, selecting the best brand, shade, and also just lining it up on the glass and applying it, can be problematic! Taking your car to have the tint applied at a local garage can be a hassle as well, needing to take time off work, or losing your vehicle for many hours while you wait for it to be finished, is often very inconvenient.

At Tinted we are completely mobile, and can cover all of Warwickshire & the West Midlands including Clifford and nearby towns. So we will come to your workplace or home, saving you time or precious holiday days. We guarantee our work for a lifetime for your peace of mind, and we are completely insured for every tinting job we do.

We can also offer both tinted & sun strips, light tints, bonnet & roof vinyl wraps, and interior vinyl wraps.

How it works

  • You book an appropriate appointment time and a location convenient to you.
  • Our uniformed personnel will arrive, only needing access to a powered plug socket.
  • We then clean the car windows with 100% pure water to remove any dirt or invisible debris previous to tinting them.
  • We might need to detach the door cards to access the workings of the window. This is done to the best professional standard.
  • After the windows are tinted, we believe its best that you don’t use the windows for around a week to allow them to completely dry, this safeguards all the edges of the tint.
  • We can then take payment by, card, bank transfer, or cash.

Which window tint shade is right for your car?

Selecting the best tint shade can be difficult. Here are some things to ask yourself:

  1. Is the tint to make you car look great?
  2. Is it to shield children or animals from things like heat & UV rays?
  3. Do you want keep valuables from sight?

From your responses to those questions our trained specialists are able to help you to pick the correct shade. Below are the 3 main shades available:

Light tintThis is a subtle tint giving protection from UV rays but allowing for full visibility even at night.

Medium tintThis is a factory tinted look, it offers protection from UV rays, heat and does add some privacy.

Blackout tint – This tint is the most commonly selected, it provides a guard from UV rays, heat and offers complete privacy.

Which car windows are we able to tint?

We’re asked this question many times. Firstly, let’s explain the way tint is measured.

The percentage produced for a tint defines the amount of light that is allowed through. So, a 20% tint allows 20% of light through.

The allowed legal limit on each of the driver’s & the front passengers window is 70%. The windscreen is 75%. Meaning the glass at the front must let 70-75% of the light through any installed tint. Nearly all of cars made today have tinted glass at already (or nearly) a 70% tint. Although to some people it doesn’t seem to be tinted, it actually is.

If you choose to get your front windows tinted your penalties range from (click this link for details):

  • A ‘prohibition notice’ stopping you using your vehicle on the road until you remove the extra tint.
  • A penalty notice and a summons by the court system.

Also, something to consider is your car insurance. By tinting the front windows of your car, you may nullify your insurance.

It’s also illegal to install tint to a vehicle’s front windows, with large penalties & fines. Tinted is a respectable, reliable and trustworthy business that all clients rely on and as such we choose not to break the law. So we will not tint your front windows.

We will happily tint any rear windows as dark as you wish, as there is no legal limit on rear window tints.

What type of tint do you use?

Not all window tint was created equal! The types of window tint available are:

Dipped/Dyed Window

This is often found be the least expensive tint on the market, it bubbles, fades, and normally goes a blue or purple colour after a while. It isn’t good quality, and we don’t recommend it.

Metalized

This tint is also often very cheap. It is affected by the rear window heater lines, making it bubble. It can also disturb radio signals. This is not a premium tint, and, won’t last.

Carbon or Charcoal

Premium industry-standard window tint. It is what we usually use at Tinted, as it gives a great colour, its long lasting, does not get affected by heater lines and does not affect the radio signals.

Ceramic

The greatest tint money can buy, offered as our premium service. It has the best longevity/colour, the heater lines do not affect it, will not affect radio reception and gives the best UV/temperature protection.

Having said that, not all manufacturers of tint are the same, after many years in the industry, we have selected what we have found to be the best brand available, and what is more, it’s manufactured in the UK, which means that when you choose our services you’re supporting two UK companies.
